U18s preview: Norwich City v Arsenal

Our young Gunners will look to make it three wins in a row when they travel to Norwich City on Saturday, September 19.

The match will take place at the Avant Training Centre, with kick-off scheduled for 12pm (UK time).

After a winless August, our under-18s have clicked into gear, securing back-to-back clean-sheet victories over Southampton and, most recently, Crystal Palace.

The 2-0 triumph in north London saw Emerson Nwaneri and Callan Hamill's strikes lift us into the top half of the U18 Premier League South.

THE OPPOSITION

The Canaries made an impressive winning start away at Chelsea, but three defeats followed before they claimed their next three points, with a 4-0 win over West Ham United last weekend.

The much-needed victory means the Norfolk side sit 12th with six points, one fewer than us.

In the U18 Premier League Cup, the East Anglian outfit are bottom of Group H after losing their opener 4-2 to West Bromwich Albion, with games against the Hammers and Middlesbrough still to come.

We last faced Norwich in February, losing 4-1 at the Sobha Realty Training Centre, with Brando Bailey-Joseph’s late goal proving only a consolation.
