Little becomes our all-time WSL record appearance holder

With her late cameo in Sunday’s 0-0 draw at home to Crystal Palace, Kim Little has now made more Women’s Super League appearances for Arsenal than any other player.

Our legendary Scottish midfielder has now surpassed Katie McCabe, as our club captain climbed to 182 matches in the competition.

Her time in the WSL began in 2008 when the top-flight was known as the FA Women’s Premier League. She initially spent five years with us before moving to Seattle Reign and then, after a loan spell at Melbourne City, returned in 2017. Aside from a brief loan switch to OL Reign, it’s been all Arsenal since then.

As you can see below, six members of our current squad are among the top 12 for WSL appearances for us:

Kim Little 182 Katie McCabe 181 Leah Williamson 172 Beth Mead 167 Jordan Nobbs 157 Caitlin Foord 120 Lia Walti 113 Frida Maanum 106 Vivianne Miedema 106 Lotte Wubben-Moy  105 Danielle Carter 105 Steph Catley  99
