U18s preview: Arsenal v Crystal Palace

Our under-18s face Crystal Palace at the Sobha Realty Training Centre on Saturday morning (11am UK) looking to continue our positive form.

We got our UEFA Youth League campaign underway with a late 2-1 win over Napoli on Wednesday, with several under-18s players involved in the success.

Before our win in Italy, our young Gunners registered their first league win of the season, beating Southampton 1-0 through Maalik Hashi's early strike.

THE OPPOSITION

Having started the season with a win, the Eagles have struggled in recent weeks. Their 3-1 win over West Ham United gave them three points right off the bat, but they are yet to add to that tally since the opening day.

Palace have conceded nine goals in their last three league games, losing heavily to Southampton and Tottenham either side of a 1-0 defeat to 2025 U18s champions Aston Villa.

The south London side also got off to a difficult start in the Premier League Cup, losing 2-1 away to Nottingham Forest.
