Three Gunners in PFA Women’s Team of the Year

Three of our players have been selected for the 2025/26 PFA Women’s Team of the Year.

Mariona Caldentey, Emily Fox and Alessia Russo were all included in WSL's best XI for a second season in a row, with votes from all women's players helping to select the winners.

Alessia ended the 2025/26 WSL season with 13 goals, the second top scorer in the division. Our striker was one of just five players to score a hat-trick all season, netting three in our 5-2 win over Tottenham.

Mariona, who won last season's PFA Player of the Year away, registered four goals and four assists in the top-flight. No player started more games for us last year than the Spaniard, starting 38 times across all competitions.

Emily was deemed the best right-back of the year once again. During her 37 matches across all competitions, Emily scored once and provided four assists, including in the Champions Cup, which we lifted at Emirates Stadium in February.
