Ismeal Kabia joins St Mirren on loan

Ismeal Kabia has joined Scottish Premiership side St Mirren on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old joined our academy in March 2017 and signed his first professional contract with us in July 2024.

An impressive 2024/25 campaign saw Ismeal make his first-team debut for us in our 5-1 win against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup third round at Emirates Stadium.

Standout performances led to Ismeal signing a second professional contract with us in August 2025, shortly followed by a loan move to Shrewsbury Town for the 2025/26 season. A valuable spell for the Dutch-born winger, who made 43 appearances across all competitions for the League Two side.

We wish Ismeal all the best for his loan spell at St Mirren and look forward to seeing his continued development.

The loan deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
