Georgia Stanway takes on Reddit AMA!

Georgia Stanway is settling in to life as a Gunner after featuring heavily in our pre-season preparations, and now our new no.4 has taken on our latest Reddit AMA, fielding questions from supporters around the world.

We signed our no.4 from Bayern Munich this summer, bringing one of Europe's most decorated midfielders into our squad.

As well as her two European Championship successes with England, Georgia has won eight major titles with Bayern Munich and seven with Manchester City, including the 2016 Barclays Women's Super League.

Asked how she maintains her focus throughout the seasons, Georgia said: " I think it's important that we take each game as it comes and we take each training session as it comes.

"It's important that we do the work on the grass that's going to put us in the best possible position for the games at the weekend. It's about every single little one percent.

"We want to just put ourselves in the best possible position, making sure that we're the most capable to be successful. We know then that we've left no stone unturned."

When Georgia joined us earlier in the Summer, she added to her vast collection of tattoos with a special tribute to our pre-match anthem, North London Forever.

Georgia was asked about the origins of the tattoo, which she said had a couple of influences.

"It was a bit of a mix between me and the media department," Georgia said, " every signing this summer was related to a piece of art and their way of being creative and it made sense that tattooing was my thing.

"Obviously because people knew that I'd been doing it for a long time, I've got a lot of tattoos, I can also tattoo myself. If you know Arsenal, if you know the song, then you know what that line is and what it means.

"I didn't want the badge, I didn't want the cannon, just because they're too obvious, but I wanted something with a bit of a deeper meaning."
