Our under-18s will look to reignite their U18 Premier League South campaign when they travel to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, November 29.
The match will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Academy Spurs Lodge, with kick-off scheduled for 11am (UK time).
Adam Birchall's side haven't found a league victory since Ipswich Town visited in September, with no wins in four since then. Despite a tough run of results, we currently sit eighth in the table with 14 points, buoyed by our strong start to the season.
When we hosted Aston Villa earlier this month, goals from Marley Frohock and Ceadach O'Neill arrived late on, in a game that the West Midlands outfit had already wrapped up before the interval and ultimately finished 6-2.
The opposition
In contrast, Spurs have experienced an almost opposite domestic trajectory, having shaken off a mixed start to their campaign to muster a four-game unbeaten run, their most recent a 4-0 triumph over Ipswich three weeks ago. They currently occupy 2nd place with 17 points.
In other competitions, our fierce rivals topped their U18 Premier League Cup group with a victory against Derby County last weekend and are through to the quarter-finals.
Many of Tottenham's under-18s players also compete in the UEFA Youth League, and won their first three league phase games before defeat to FC Copenhagen, and a recent 5-2 loss to Paris Saint-Germain, marred their faultless start. They currently sit 12th in the table with nine points and are on track to qualify for the round of 32 with just one game left to play.
The last north London derby was played out in April, when Max Dowman, Sam Onyekachukwu, Ife Ibrahim and Louis Zecevic John all netted to edge a trilogy of Spurs goals in the first half. We were pegged back at the death, however, via a deflected goal which forced us to share the points in a 4-4 draw at Sobha Reality Training Centre.
